If tennis is your game, the tennis center at Rancho Las Palmas Country Club boasts 25 courts with eight courts lit for night play. If you don’t have a partner, we’ll get you one or set you up on our ball machine! We also have a daily schedule of lessons and clinics.
The tennis program is under the direction of Peter Burwash International (PBI), the world’s premier tennis management company! Founded in 1975, PBI directs tennis programs at exclusive hotels, resorts and clubs in North America, Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, the Middle East, Central America and Mexico. The tennis professionals are also certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).
Our 25 hard court tennis facility is one of Tennis Magazine’s Top 50 USA Tennis Resorts and is the host facility for the Easter Bowl, the largest and most prestigious National Junior tournament in the country. Tennis Resorts Online also rates Rancho Las Palmas one of the world’s Top 75 Tennis Resorts!

Clinics & Lessons
Private Lessons - $80 per hour/ $45 per half hour
Semi Private Lessons (2 people) - $90 per hour/$45 per half hour
Courts - $20 per hour
Ball Machine - $30 per hour
Demo Racquets - $10
Clinics are available daily from 8am-9am with a different topic featured each day. Cost is $30 per person. 24 hour sign up is requested.
Junior clinics are offered during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter/Springs Break Holidays. Cost is $25 per child.
Player Matching Service Available! Please call 760-862-4531 to be scheduled in a match for the following day. Cost is $30 per match.

Peter Burwash International (PBI)
Kevin Connolly, a 22-year veteran of Peter Burwash International, the world’s premier tennis management company, has been the Director of Tennis at RLP since 1999. Kevin originates from Pittsburgh, PA and attended college at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC. He graduated with a BA in Political Science and played fours years NCAA Division 1 varsity tennis at Coastal.
Prior to moving to California, Kevin was the Director of Tennis at Panorama Resort, Panorama, British Columbia and Director of Tennis at Coccoloba Resort in Anguilla, British West Indies. Kevin has also coached on the WTA /ITF circuit in Japan, Thailand, Mexico and Quebec.
The Rancho Las Palmas 25 court tennis facility is one of Tennis Magazine’s top 50 USA tennis resorts, and is the host facility for the Easter Bowl, the largest and most prestigious national junior tournament in the country.
