OMNI RANCHO LAS PALMAS RESORT & SPA REVEALS RENOVATED SUITES DESIGNED BY FINAL CONTESTANTS ON “HGTV STAR”
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (July 22, 2013) – Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is proud to unveil the recently re-designed suites that appeared last night on the season finale of HGTV’s “HGTV Star.” The three finalists, Tiffany Brooks, Jeribai Tascoe and Brooks Atwood, who appeared on the popular design show, completely re-imagined the property’s three grand suites. Each designer showcased their own eclectic flair and interpretation of mid-century modern design.
The re-design of Omni Rancho Las Palmas’ suites comes on the heels of a recent multi-million dollar renovation, which included a chic and sophisticated new look to the meeting spaces, an upgraded lobby and bar, a refreshed outdoor plaza area and adults-only pool, as well as upgrades to the resort’s spa and fitness center.
“Palm Springs is known for impeccable design and our three new suites showcase the best style and innovation of our region,” said April Shute, managing director of Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. “These glamorous and sophisticated suites, combined with the recent renovations, have truly taken the guest experience to the next level.”
The Renovated Suites
Agave Suite: Designed by Tiffany Brooks, this season’s winner, the Agave Suite is packed with personality and style, combining fresh and vibrant colors with an ease of functionality and a mid-century modern motif. The rich hardwood texture and luxe fabrics envelope you in a modern and playful desert hideaway. The focal point of the suite’s dining room includes nine whimsical prints from SoCal painter and illustrator Josh “Shag” Agle.
Valencia Suite: Palm Springs’ rich Hollywood history meets today’s luxury-seeking traveler with this colorful suite. Designed by Brooks Atwood, the suite blends bits of the baroque with playful patterns and splashes of color, this suite boasts an incredibly rich, regal and elegant vibe.
Brisa Suite: Classic Palm Springs meets classy, cool and contemporary with this sleek re-design by Jeribai Tascoe. Neutral, airy, aquatic colors perfectly accentuate the desert aesthetic embodying a laidback, sophisticated style indicative of the playful Palm Springs resort vibe. A truly soothing sanctuary that lets guests get away from it all.
