• Bob Hope Chrysler Classic (January 18 - 24, 2010)
  Since 1960, this classic event has attracted top names from both the golf and celebrity worlds. Sports stars, musicians, and film personalities all compete to help raise money for a number of local and national charities. This year, the event will be hosted by the larger-than-life Arnold Palmer, with the Palmer Private Course at PGA West serving as the host course.
  Directions to event: Take CA-111 to Washington Street. Turn right at Washington Street, then make a left onto 52nd Avenue. Turn right at Adams Street. Parking is free at SilverRock Resort.
• BNP Paribas Open (March 8 - 21, 2010)
  As the fifth most attended tennis tournament in the world, this tournament attracts over 300,000 fans each year. The event features both men's and women's singles and doubles matches, all held at the 89-acre, state-of-the-art Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
  Directions to event: Take CA-111 to Miles Avenue. The stadium will be on your left.
• La Quinta Arts Festival (March 11-14, 2010)
  The 28th Annual La Quinta Arts Festival returns to the visually stunning setting of La Quinta’s Civic Center Campus in the greater Palm Springs area. Produced by La Quinta Arts Foundation, in partnership with its Premier Sponsor the City of La Quinta, La Quinta Arts Festival is the primary fund-raiser for La Quinta Arts Foundation. 10am to 5pm Daily. • Kraft Nabisco Championship (March 29 - April 4, 2010)
  Started in 1974, the Kraft Nabisco Championship is one of the major annual events of the LPGA Tour. More than 100 of the world's best women golfers will compete for prizes worth $2 million, with all play taking place at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course.
  Directions to event: Take Bob Hope Drive north, then turn left at Ramon Road. Turn left onto Crossley Road for General Admission parking.
• Coachella Music Festival (April 17 - 19, 2010)
  This popular outdoor music and arts festival will feature three days of exhibitions and live music, with a lineup that includes Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, and Dwight Yoakam. Proceeds from festival tickets will benefit the Indio Youth Task Force.
  Directions to event: Take Interstate 10 East towards Palm Springs. Exit at Monroe Street. Traffic personnel will direct cars to the Empire Polo Field.
• Stagecoach Country Music Festival (April 24 - 26, 2010)
  See all your favorite country stars during this exciting two-day festival! In addition to a jam-packed musical lineup, you'll get a taste of the West with antique cowboy gear exhibits, square dancing demonstrations, mechanical bulls, hayrides, and more.
